Ordering a DVD? Why not organise a screening?
We hope groups and organisations all across the UK will organise their own screenings and inspire more people to get involved.
As Pam Warhurst says, “The local food movement has shown the way forward, a clear sign of where we’re going. Now the challenge is how we scale that up and how more people can have access to good healthy food.”
The film is licensed for community use, so you can organise your own screenings whenever and wherever you want. Order the DVD and screen it in a barn, packing shed, village hall, shop, café or even your front room. Invite friends, family, colleagues, customers, members and talk about the issues it raises.
We are technically no longer able to sell the film but we do ask you please to make a donation to cover the DVD and postage costs. This enables us to continue to make the film publicly available, and we are very grateful for your interest and support.
Conversations lead to action:
- Set up a food action group and develop a food plan or strategy
- Generate more support for local food producers and businesses
- Engage colleagues or neighbours in something practical – growing food or cooking together
- Start a discussion about school or hospital meals, or local sourcing in restaurants
We have produced some great resources to help you organise a screening including posters and flyers, ideas for discussion and practical advice on how to organise a screening and discussion.
